LILLY POOL
- Come and enjoy our brand new "Lilly Pool"! This little oasis of clear refreshing water will have you coming back for more! Only 14'x16' and 2' deep, it is the perfect place for relaxing, reading a book or socializing. A wonderfully secluded place for cocktails in the evening, it overlooks our beautiful orchid gardens. The size of "Lilly Pool" also makes it perfect for smaller children to play in and is situated right next to our new children's playground.
STAR GAZING
- The luminous beauty of the night sky has a presence that is overwhelming, so in the evening, away from the glaring lights of the city, walk over to “Lilly Pool”, relax in the lounge chairs and look up. Learn to spot the various constellations under a perfect clear dark sky or just admire the immediate beauty of the stars.
HIKING
- Make sure you walk all our nature and birding trails, where some amazing sights might wait just around the corner… jaguars, deers, coatis, armadillos, pacas, bush dogs and a host of birds have been spotted by previous guests. From the novice to the more experienced trekker, have fun spotting all the different trees and plants along one of our nature trails while listening to the call of the birds. Take a walk in the late afternoon up “Sunset Trail” and watch the sun go down over the valley, or just stroll lazily along “Butterfly Trail” and watch the butterfly flitter from flower to flower.
BIRD WATCHING
- Whether your interest in birds is casual or intense, the variety and beauty of our winged friends will astound you. From Aracaris to Toucans, from Mot-Mots to Trogans, spending time trying to identify them all might require you to extend your stay with us!
CANOEING/TUBING
- Our canoes, tubes and boogie boards are just waiting for you to enjoy while swimming in the refreshing Macal River.
